Can I bring a plus one?

Please ask Aya but unfortunately at this stage, we do not have the space for any additional guests (apart from those who RSVP'd with one).

What should I wear?

Wear what makes you happy. Ideally bright colours! We will probably be on the more formal side but there is no specific dress code. Please bring something warm for the evening as the evenings can get very cold, even if the day is warm. Feel free to bring any sparkly and fun garbs for the neon bush after party too! There will be a place at the house to put your things.

Should I wear high heels?

Wearer beware - you will be in the outdoors on uneven terrain and there will be no hard floor anywhere. Even for a chunky heel, it will be a challenge. We recommend flat shoes or bare feet. Definitely advise against a pointy heel of any kind.

I can no longer make it to the wedding!

That is completely fine and absolutely understandable. We do not take it personally as we are aware of the time and expense. All we ask is that you please let Aya know as soon as possible so amendments can be made to catering, accommodation etc

Where do I sit at the ceremony?

There won't be any 'sides' - just pick a spot to stand or sit in the area. When the time comes to gather, our celebrant will let you know where. There will be some reserved seats in the first few rows for family.

Will there be transport to and from the wedding?

See Transport page for more detailed information.

Is there parking?

There is very limited parking at the house however you’re very welcome to park at the Buckingham street car park which is a 5 minute walk from the house

Will there be a bar?

Absolutely - there will be an open bar with wine, beer, bubbles, a coupley cocktails, vodka, tequila and some non alcoholic options until 9pm. After that, there will be plenty of drinks in chilly bins and no doubt some tequila swigs. If you want anything specific, or your drink of choice is not listed above - you're welcome to BYO to the meeting spot and it will be bought up to the reception location. Please have it labelled with your name.

Can I bring a change of clothes or dress ups?

Yes, the evenings are cold so bring your warmies and anything additional you wish to have near by. Bring it with you to the meeting spot on the big day (Dudley's Cottage @ 2pm) and it will be transported to the house, where the reception and party will be, waiting and ready for whenever you need it.

What is the season and what will the weather be doing?

It will be towards the end of summer. We are hoping for a warm clear day but can't rule out rain. It's very much a 'prepare for all weather' situation.

What should I pack for my trip to NZ?

We will technically be at the end of Summer, but this can be the warmest time of year. NZ is small so it's very much a 'prepare for all seasons' situation. You will be deep in the South, the evenings can be very cold (below 10 degrees) but the days can be HOT. Absolute essentials to pack: Clothes for the hear and the cold, swim wear, sunscreen, walking shoes, Chapstick/lip balm (it is very dry there and this is where you'll feel it first).

I'm a DJ! Is there anything I can't play?

Respectfully, no D&B or Country genres please! It's nothing personal and it's not that we don't like it - it's just not the vibe we are after for our evening :)
